After spending lots of time tweaking Desqview, QEMM, and the BBS setups to
make my three-line TAG BBS (plus a local TAG BBS) work properly, I decided
to put together my pertinent files for sysops who want to use Desqview while
running their bbs (either single or multi-line.) Several local sysops have
since set up Desqview on their systems, and now that TAG is multi-line
capable (in version 2.6 to be released soon,) I thought these files might be
of some help.
My system consists of a 386-33, with 8 megs of RAM, three USR HST's, a
4-port serial card, CD-ROM disc player, and three phone lines, with the
FrontDoor mailer on the third line. The phones on the first two nodes will
rollover to the second and third lines when either are busy. This is a free
service by Michigan Bell in my service area.
Disclaimer:
The files enclosed in this archive (DVTAG.ZIP) are intended only to help you
set up Desqview on your system. The various configurations may not work on
your system. If something doesn't work, you should read the docs for the
program you are having problems with.
Good luck with Desqview! I don't know how I did without it for the last two
years.
